Applications for Street signage
Suffolk County Council Highways and Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association have an agreed licensing process in place, allowing registered Neighbourhood Watch schemes to apply to erect new NW signs for their scheme.
Suffolk Highways will only accept applications processed through the Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association, as this enables us to officially validate each application.
Generally, when funding permits, the Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association are able to offer up to four Neighbourhood Watch signs per scheme for the replacement of old, faded, or damaged signs for existing schemes, as well as new signs for start-up schemes, all free of charge.

Where additional signs are required, these must be purchased direct by the scheme through approved suppliers.
For the standard dibond signs and overlay stickers, (300mm wide x 400mm high), with traditional logo we recommend the use of Normanton Screenprint [NSP] - as a licensed preferred supplier.
The Neighbourhood Watch Network (Ourwatch.org) offer for sale a smaller Foamex Printed sign which can be purchased from their online shop. These signs measure 220mm wide x 300mm high and use the Neighbourhood Watch 'today' logo. Whilst not as durable as the preferred metal signs, they do offer a more affordable solution.
Coordinators should be aware that they can contact their local County Councillor to apply for funding from Locality Funds, which can enable the
purchase of Neighbourhood Watch street signs. Please remember that council funding is discretionary, so alternative sources may need to be considered - e.g.donations from residents, parish or Town council funding, or sponsorship.

Create your own ID Badge
Coordinators can request a free lanyard and ID Badge holder to then print their own Neighbourhood Watch Identity Badge, using the supplied word document template.
For best results, a passport style photo should be considered, preferably using an image with a white background.
