Please note:
With regard to Election of Officers - the Association is always seeking nominations for volunteers to take up roles on the Executive Committee.

The election of the Executive committee shall take place at the next AGM, and anyone wishing to stand for election for an Executive post should submit their details along with the details of two nominees.

In the event no nominations being received for a post prior to the meeting, at the discretion of the Chair, nominations may be accepted from the floor and duly seconded.

Nominations can be submitted to the Chairman prior to the AGM via email

The Association needs a minimum of three people elected on to the Executive Committee, to prevent having the need to consider dissolving the Association.

The current committee has 5 members, four of which, if elected, are happy to continue in their roles for another year:

Chair:          Tony Spall
Treasurer:   Bob Gooch    (Position becomes vacant at AGM)
Events:       Mark Lillie
Signage:     Linda Smith
Database:   Graham Holmes

We are sad to report that our long serving Treasurer, Bob Gooch, will be standing down, and therefore a new volunteer is required to take on this key role. We are also keen to welcome volunteers to fill other equally important roles as below, to help make the Association run more efficiently and effectively:

Secretary:                                    Position vacant
Vice-Chair:                                   Position vacant
Publicity:
Position vacant
Communications:                         Position vacant
Promotion:                                   Position vacant
Area Network Coordination:        Position vacant

If you have further questions relating to these posts, please email the Chair.

With regard to Changes to Constitution - the Executive Committee submit a proposed amendment to allow the Association to use internet banking.
The existing constitution can be viewed
 here.

Under the Finance Section (9), a new clause (9.5) is proposed to be entered as follows:

“If the committee decides to operate all or part of its financial matters by using online/electronic/internet banking (referred to collectively as “online banking”); it shall first discuss the process with the relevant bank and as a minimum shall make provision, in conjunction with the bank, to ensure that two of the aforesaid signatories shall approve the payments made by the club through the Internet."

If approved, the Constitution will be signed off as Version 7, and dated as the 17th July 2019.
